Loved the free breakfast and the wine and cheese.

Wine and cheese ends way to early.

Really short walk to Cannery Row. There is now view of the ocean but the breakfast made up far it. Very friendly and helpful staff. The aquarium tickets you buy at the hotel are two day tickets.

Noisy - can hear creaks of walking and the beds from other rooms above and next to, as well as all the plumbing.

The hotel was fine for the amount I paid, but I don't think I would want to pay much more. If you have problems sleeping with noise, this is probably not the place for you. Not only could I hear a lot of sounds of people walking around and moving in bed through the walls and ceiling, I could also hear the neighbor's dog barking, the plumbing, the seagulls making noise outside and cars driving on the street. ...read more

Great location, spacious room, nice continental breakfast.

This hotel has a great location - a short walk to Cannery Row and the aquarium in one direction and to Fisherman's Wharf in the other. There are shops and restaurants nearby and even a supermarket within walking distance about 5 blocks away. The room was spacious and comfortable, the hotel was clean with nice touches of Victorian styling in the public areas. There is a nice continental breakfast in the morning and a wine + cheese, and reception in the late afternoon. The only downside - no pool.
